Belle trained as an actor at the RSAMD where she won the Percival Steeds Prize for Spoken Word and the Norah Cooper Mulligan Award for Verse Speaking . Her performance credits include: The Man Who Followed His Legs and Kept on Walking (Wee Stories), REaD (tidy carnage), Red Riding Hood, Aladdin and Cinderella (Plutot la Vie/Howden Park Centre), Dark Road (Royal Lyceum Edinburgh), Richard III (Bristol Shakespeare Festival), The Night Before Christmas (Cumbernauld Theatre), A Dream On Midsummer’s Night (Wee Stories), James and the Giant Peach (Citizens Theatre), May There Always Be Sunshine and 44 Scotland Street (BBC Radio 4), Outlander (Starz TV) and Rebus (STV). Belle has contributed to R&D with companies including Magnetic North and Catherine Wheels.

She also has a number of directing credits: X and Y (New Room Theatre/Black Dingo Productions), Blackout (Black Dingo Productions), Kitchen Sink Collective (Scrapyard Theatre), Theatre Uncut Glasgow and Newsboy at the Tron which she co-directed with Allie Butler.
Belle has taught drama privately and as an Outreach Drama Artist at Eden Court Theatre where she directed a youth theatre production of Alice Through the Looking Glass. She worked as an actor-pedagogue and playworker for Lickety Spit Theatre company, running workshops for early years children in areas of multiple deprivation in Glasgow and Edinburgh. She has also taught drama and English in Slovakia, China and Brazil.
